I cannot express enough how much I was shocked to find the explanation of how the name the “Whisk” was born in Oliver’s “The Irvine Legacy.” I believe this is the video that was the source of Oliver’s explanation apart from what he directly heard from Bill Irvine. If you think the meaning of the “Whisk” literally as a “whisk”,
