（Throwaway Oversway in Q,T&W）
スローアウェイ・オーバースウェイはオーバースウェイ同様、スタンダード4種目で使うことができ、先のオーバースウェイで紹介したエントリーをスローアウェイ・オーバースウェイに使うこともできます。オーバースウェイとの技術的な違いは、スローアウェイ・オーバースウェイでは男性はボディの回転を大きくして、女性の左足が後ろに行くようにリードします。
１．クイックステップでのスローアウェイ・オーバースウェイ
●中央斜めに入り、同じＬＯＤ上で終わります。
クイック・オープン・リバース・ターン (SQQ) ~ 右足後退からスローアウェイ・オーバースウェイ (SSS) ~ ロール・エンディング (SSS) ~ ペパーポット・アクション (Q&Q QQS) ~ 任意のナチュラル系に続けます。
Commence DC and finish on same LOD.
Quick Open Reverse Turn (SQQ) ~ RF Back into Throwaway Oversway (SSS) ~ Roll ending (SSS) ~ Pepperpot Action (Q&Q QQS) ~ Continue with any Natural Figure.

２．タンゴでのスローアウェイ・オーバースウェイ

ヴィニーズ・クロス・ターン (QQ& QQ& QQ&) ~ スローアウェイ・オーバースウェイ (QQS) ~ チェックしてPP (SS) ~ クローズド・プロムナード (SQQS)
＊「チェックしてPP」のカウントは（SS)としていますが、素早い動きをしてからその形に入るので、カウントの感じとしては (&S &S) となります。

Viennese Cross Turn (QQ& QQ& QQ&) ~ Throwaway Oversway (QQS) ~ Check to PP (SS) ~ Closed Promenade (SQQS)
*Although the rhythm of the changes of Line (Check to PP) is given as (SS), the feeling is to dance the movement as quickly as possible (Count &) then hold the line for Count (S).
